Description

You will manage and maintain Kafka clusters and Kubernetes environments, ensuring system stability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Kafka clusters, operating systems, and related software.
• Manage Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, retention policies, and access control.
• Deploy Kafka containers via Kubernetes and onboard new connectors for application integration.
• Monitor cluster performance, availability, health, and Kubernetes environment stability.
• Troubleshoot issues involving Kafka performance, memory management, security, and Kubernetes scaling.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in infrastructure or administration roles.
• Deep expertise in Kafka cluster management and administration.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes deployment and container management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cluster and performance issues.
• Experience configuring and scaling Kafka deployments within Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of managing Kafka brokers and partition policies.
• Skills in monitoring distributed system health and availability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with security hardening for distributed systems.
