Description

You will design, build, and manage Kafka infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build open-source or vendor-supported Kafka infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation processes for Kafka environments using Ansible and Jenkins.
• Manage infrastructure monitoring and alerting using New Relic.
• Troubleshoot Kafka producer and consumer applications.
• Maintain Linux-based Kafka environments and document technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT professional experience with at least 5 years as a Kafka administrator.
• Hands-on experience with event streaming and stream processing using Spark and Flink.
• Proficiency in Ansible and Jenkins automation development.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Experience with monitoring tools including New Relic, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Experience managing Linux (RedHat) and Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience with VMware and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket (Git).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent professional experience.
