Description

You will design and architect streaming and event-based messaging solutions using Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage Kafka environments, including cluster setup and capacity planning.
• Tune Kafka cluster performance and establish ongoing monitoring processes.
• Create and track key performance metrics for cluster utilization and health.
• Apply strong system design principles to complex data streaming and integration challenges.
• Maintain large-scale Kafka clusters with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering or architecture roles.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kafka as a streaming and event-based messaging platform.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka APIs for data integration and management.
• Experience in designing and maintaining large-scale Kafka clusters.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and operational monitoring of Kafka environments.
• Solid background in system architecture and design principles.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Confluent Kafka.
