Description

Design and manage event-driven architectures using Confluent Kafka.

You will own the release pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative solutions leveraging Confluent Kafka capabilities and product architecture.
• Manage Kafka clusters, including configuration of producers, consumers, and connection handling.
• Develop and support Kafka integrations involving topics, producers, and consumers.
• Oversee the operational management and evolution of the Kafka environment.
• Collaborate with application, network, infrastructure, and InfoSEC teams to implement security configurations.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka.
• Deep understanding of Kafka architecture, offset management, partition strategy, and DR requirements.
• Expertise in Kafka connectors, producer APIs, and consumer APIs.
• Proficiency in Kafka security configuration and connection handling.
• Experience with Azure cloud management tools and Kafka Cluster Management tools.
• Practical knowledge of Git, Gradle, Sonar, and Jenkins.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency with SQL and Kafka.
