Description

You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Confluent Kafka, Apache Spark, and Talend infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Confluent Kafka clusters on bare-metal and Cloud VMs.
• Resolve production issues and coordinate directly with vendors for product-level troubleshooting.
• Own capacity management and COB DR planning and coordination.
• Conduct PoCs for new features and architect solutions across cloud and hardware environments.
• Coordinate server VTM patching and interface with CTI SA for server/VM builds.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in application development or system administration.
• Extensive experience setting up Confluent Apache Kafka clusters.
• Proficiency in Unix or Python scripting.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to resolve performance bottlenecks and conduct system analysis.
• Experience with software application programming.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Apache Spark and Talend.
