Description

You will develop core systems and frameworks using KDB+ technology to build scalable real-time processing solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable real-time processing solutions using agile methodologies.
• Store large volumes of cross-asset market data for real-time and historical access.
• Partner with traders and quantitative analysts to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure operational stability, resiliency, and performance of KDB applications.
• Develop production code and identify automation opportunities to improve application stability.

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of KDB+ technology and the Q language.
• Expertise in building large-scale platforms.
• Experience with KDB+tick design and data organization.
• Practical experience optimizing query performance in large datasets.
• Proficiency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design and application development.
• Experience with C++, Java, C, or Python.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AWS compute services and storage tiers.
• Fundamental knowledge of electronic trading markets.
