Description

You will develop and maintain core KDB+ systems, building scalable real-time processing solutions for cross-asset market data.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable real-time data platforms using KDB+ and Q.
• Design and implement KDB+tick architectures for efficient data organization.
• Optimize query performance on large-scale historical and real-time datasets.
• Partner with traders and quantitative analysts to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure operational stability, resiliency, and performance of KDB applications.

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of KDB+ technology and the Q language.
• Expertise building large-scale platforms with KDB+.
• Practical experience optimizing query performance on large datasets.
• Proficiency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, and testing.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, and application resiliency.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or C.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
