Description

You build and maintain core systems using KDB+ technology.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable real-time processing solutions for cross-asset market data.
• Partner with traders and quantitative analysts to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure operational stability, resilience, and performance of KDB applications.
• Develop production code and identify automation opportunities to improve application stability.

Required Skills

• Deep understanding of KDB+ technology and the Q language.
• 5+ years of experience building large-scale platforms.
• Experience with KDB+ tick design and data organization, including performance implications.
• Practical experience developing and running large datasets, optimizing query performance, and building resilient KDB applications.
• Proficiency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies including CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java, C, C++, or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of AWS compute services and storage tiers.
• Fundamental knowledge of electronic trading markets.
