You will build and enhance KDB+ real-time tick systems and scalable market data platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time processing platforms for market data.
• Optimize large datasets and improve query performance in production.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and front-office teams to deliver analytics solutions.
• Ensure platform stability, resiliency, and performance standards.
• Make KDB datasets accessible for cloud, research, and AI initiatives.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in KDB+, Q language, and tick architecture.
• Strong experience with large data platforms and real-time data ingestion.
• Hands-on experience in SDLC, CI/CD, and agile development.
• Ability to design, develop, test, and support production systems.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, cloud migration).
• Programming experience in Python (PyKX), Java, C, or C++.
• Understanding of financial markets—Equities, FX, Fixed Income, electronic trading.
