Description

You will develop, adapt, and validate Linux kernel patches to extend enterprise lifecycle and ensure security compliance across distributions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt kernel patches to extend the lifecycle of enterprise Linux environments.
• Validate kernel patches across different Linux distributions and kernel versions for security compliance.
• Debug complex systems and troubleshoot critical Linux security technologies for organizational reliability.
• Improve automation workflows and maintain high engineering standards for kernel development processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux Kernel Development and Systems Programming.
• Strong expertise in Kernel Debugging and identifying security vulnerabilities.
• Proven ability to create and apply Security Patches to upstream and downstream kernels.
• Deep understanding of Linux distributions and kernel version differences.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams on infrastructure projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience contributing to modern development workflows and tooling.
• Background in maintaining technical ownership of complex infrastructure solutions.
