Description

Build automated failover solutions and database monitoring tools using Kotlin.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated failover solutions for database systems using Kotlin.
• Develop tools and scripts to collect, aggregate, and visualize metrics across Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Cassandra, and Couchbase.
• Collaborate with database administrators and operations teams to define monitoring and alerting strategies.
• Implement strategies for maintaining database health and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Experience with Oracle, MSSQL, and DB2.
• Experience with Cassandra and Couchbase.
• Practical knowledge of GitLab.
• Proficiency with Gradle.
• Sound understanding of DevOps tools and workflows.
