Description

You will manage and maintain multi-cluster Kubernetes environments and control planes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Vanilla Kubernetes or kubeadm-based clusters.
• Upgrade Kubernetes components including Istio, nginx ingress, CNI components, and etcd.
• Troubleshoot cluster issues involving control planes, ingress, worker nodes, deployments, and PVCs.
• Operate within a GitOps model across various application types.
• Manage persistent storage using PVCs in Kubernetes environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• 3+ years of experience specifically as a Kubernetes Administrator.
• Extensive hands-on experience managing the Kubernetes control plane.
• Proven experience working in multi-cluster environments.
• Expertise in upgrading core Kubernetes components and service meshes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for distributed systems and networking components.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• CKA certification.
• Experience with Portworx, VMware, or on-prem virtualization.
• Python scripting and strong Linux administration skills.
