Description

You will design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and IBM OpenShift.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
• Manage and scale containerized applications across IBM OpenShift environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to containerized applications and orchestration.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management workflows.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce policies and integrate infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Kubernetes Administrator with a focus on IBM OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with IBM OpenShift installation, configuration, and administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Docker and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably IBM Cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• IBM Certified System Administrator - Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
