Description

Own the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Kubernetes clusters in bare-metal and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Deploy and scale cloud-native applications in collaboration with development teams.
• Support CI/CD processes and manage containerized application deployments.
• Automate operational tasks using Ansible and Helm; develop scripts in Bash or Python.
• Manage cluster networking, storage, and access controls while enforcing security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes administration and application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes deployment, scaling, and cluster management.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized application lifecycles.
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools, specifically Ansible and Helm.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage mechanisms, and security protocols.
• Strong Linux administration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Hands-on experience managing bare-metal Kubernetes environments.
