You will design and manage large-scale cloud-based container solutions and technical strategies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based container solutions in collaboration with Enterprise Architects and engineering leadership.
• Define technical strategies and actionable short- and long-term product roadmaps.
• Oversee engineering and operations to ensure delivery aligns with strategic product priorities.
• Monitor capacity, performance, and cost metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage the allocation of people and financial resources for technology engineering.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years designing, building, securing, and managing Kubernetes at scale.
• Expertise in Linux and cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions such as OpenShift or Rancher.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform, Docker Compose, GitOps, and shell scripting.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Golang, or PowerShell.
• Experience with messaging and data streaming technologies like Kafka or Event Hub.
• Knowledge of container traffic management tools such as Nginx or Istio.
• Experience using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• 3+ years of project management experience and familiarity with Agile best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Architect-level cloud certification.
• CKAD, CKA, or CKS certifications.
