Description

Lead technical support and management for Kubernetes container platforms and AWS cloud infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and upgrade Amazon EKS clusters, handling software installation, patching, and configuration.
• Implement automation for build processes, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision, configure, and scale cloud environments efficiently.
• Lead production support activities, incident response, and on-call rotations for critical systems.
• Perform system monitoring, tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery planning.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with AWS technologies, specifically EKS, ElastiCache, and KMS.
• Deep expertise in AWS Networking: VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, and Flow Logs.
• Proficiency with AWS Compute services including EC2, AutoScaling, and Load Balancers.
• Experience with databases such as SQL, RDS, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on knowledge of IAM, S3, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Pulsar, and Elasticsearch.
• Working experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency using Jira, Confluence, Wiki, and ServiceNow for ticketing and documentation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Podman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including AWS CodePipeline and Azure DevOps.
• Linux system administration, bash scripting, and web server configuration (Nginx or Apache).
