Description

You will build programmatic solutions to manage containerized application lifecycles and cloud deployments, focusing on migrating services to Kubernetes and serverless platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create Dockerfiles to package applications for Managed Kubernetes or Serverless environments.
• Automate the generation of declarative configuration files for cloud-based deployments.
• Resolve application dependencies to migrate services from virtual machines to containers.
• Decouple APM configurations from Java application profiles to run as standalone components.
• Use Linux to retrieve service configurations and metadata from remote machines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java or Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerized applications.
• 1-2 years of experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
• Deep understanding of container technology and orchestration.
• Experience with at least two of the following: Java Tomcat, Springboot, Jobss, or WebLogic.
• Ability to programmatically handle container resources and service configurations.
• Proficiency in Linux for remote service configuration retrieval.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing applications on Managed Kubernetes or Serverless cloud platforms.
