Description

You will design, deploy, and manage scalable containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters. You own the reliability, security, and performance of these systems in collaboration with DevOps and cloud teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Docker containers and Kubernetes manifests (Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
• Monitor cluster health, performance, and availability, troubleshooting Kubernetes and container-related issues.
• Implement scaling, rolling updates, and self-healing mechanisms to ensure system resilience.
• Enforce security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development or DevOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker/containerization.
• Proficiency in YAML and Kubernetes resource definitions.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or GCP GKE).
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

Preferred Skills

• Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD / CKS).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) or service mesh knowledge (Istio, Linkerd).
