Description

You will design and manage infrastructure for hybrid cloud and on-premises failover environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provision, configure, and monitor shared infrastructure services including S3, Kafka, and data stores.
• Establish connectivity between new failover services and existing identity, DNS, and artifact services.
• Automate data replication between cloud and on-premises environments.
• Develop, test, and document code and scripts to solve complex technical challenges.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure Modernization, or DR/BC strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster management, including Rancher, RKPE2, and Calico CNI.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Vault, SonarQube, GitHub, Terraform, and Harness.
• Experience with Kubernetes secrets management and CSI plug-ins for object, file, and block storage.
• Proficiency with Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, and writing testable Python scripts.
• Knowledge of managing Helm charts and deploying microservices.
• Experience with monitoring frameworks such as Splunk, LogicMonitor, SignalFX, and Prometheus.
• Practical experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Amazon Kinesis.
• Familiarity with AWS services, specifically S3 and S3 replication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for Flink-based streaming applications.
