Description

You will design and implement the platform specification and SDLC to support rapid, zero-downtime updates.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement release, development, and testing processes for the platform specification.
• Build an SDLC for the specification to support rapid development and zero-downtime updates.
• Create integrations via code or scripting to optimize developer experience for workload deployment and day 2 operations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure required capabilities are available for platform management.
• Develop recommendations for development teams to consume specifications and reduce outage risks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Kubernetes, including deep knowledge of its architecture, security, and object model.
• 5+ years of experience with Flux.
• 4+ years of experience with Golang.
• 3+ years of experience with ArgoCD.
• Strong proficiency in GitOps and cloud-native software development life cycles.
• Expertise building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub.
• Experience with K8s ecosystem tooling including ingress controllers and service mesh.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform, OAM, or Kubevela.
• Experience writing controllers via Kubebuilder or Crossplane.
• Experience implementing service mesh solutions like Istio or Linkerd.
