Description

You will design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy high-availability, secure, and scalable Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and develop reusable modules.
• Containerize applications and manage Kubernetes resources including pods, services, ingress controllers, and volumes.
• Configure network settings such as VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network policies.
• Implement security best practices using RBAC, pod security policies, and secrets management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering with a focus on Kubernetes.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing Kubernetes clusters in on-premises or bare-metal environments.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts and tools including kubectl, Helm, and Kustomize.
• Solid experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible, Chef, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD) and Terraform certifications.
