Description

Support and enhance enterprise Kubernetes and Linux KVM infrastructure, focusing on OpenShift and Red Hat Linux.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain OpenShift Kubernetes clusters using the console, command line, and advanced management tools.
• Automate deployment and configuration processes utilizing Ansible, shell scripting, and other automation solutions.
• Configure and manage scalable storage solutions such as GPFS (IBM Spectrum Scale) and implement data protection strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers and developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Document complex technical processes clearly.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• 5+ years of Kubernetes cluster management experience.
• Proficiency in installing and automating Linux OS, specifically Red Hat distributions.
• Strong scripting skills in shell, Python, or Go.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
• Deep understanding of SELinux and Linux firewall management.
• Experience with storage management using LVM and disk encryption techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux KVM infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills.
