Description

Architect, deploy, and maintain large-scale Kubernetes and KubeVirt clusters running on bare metal.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain large-scale Kubernetes and KubeVirt clusters on bare metal, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, and day-2 operations for OpenStack and Kubernetes.
• Optimize core OpenStack services (Nova, Neutron, Cinder) and develop tooling for maintenance.
• Implement and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Fluentd across the platform stack.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate applications onto the platform, advising on workload optimization and resource utilization.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in infrastructure roles.
• Proven ability to design and manage production-grade Kubernetes environments on bare metal.
• Strong practical experience managing and troubleshooting key OpenStack services (Nova, Neutron, Cinder).
• Expert-level skills in Linux administration and Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible or Terraform.
• Deep understanding of container networking concepts (CNI plugins, Load Balancing, Network Policies).
• Expertise implementing and configuring observability stacks like Prometheus and Grafana for complex issue resolution.
• Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with KubeVirt specifically.
