Description

Manage and optimize Kubernetes operator-based applications and CRD deployments across cloud and on-prem environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Kubernetes operator-based applications to drive automation.
• Configure workloads using pod topology spread constraints, node affinity, and scheduling policies for high availability.
• Troubleshoot cluster deployments, operator installations, and rolling updates.
• Diagnose infrastructure issues using logs, metrics, and alerts to resolve tickets.
• Improve deployment efficiency via Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes Operator expertise, including deployment and management.
• 3+ years implementing and troubleshooting Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
• 3+ years using Grafana and Prometheus for application monitoring and optimization.
• 2+ years with Terraform or Helm for infrastructure automation.
• 2+ years scripting and automation in Bash, Python, or Golang.
• Experience configuring pod topology spread constraints and node affinity rules.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• CKAD certification.
• Familiarity with incident response, disaster recovery planning, and container security.
• Experience with log aggregation tools like ELK Stack.
