Description

You will own the onboarding and operational support of enterprise applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms. Your work ensures developer teams can build, deploy, and scale containerized applications reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Guide development teams through standardized onboarding processes for Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Release Engineering to design scalable platform solutions.
  • Implement GitOps practices using ArgoCD for version-controlled deployments and automated infrastructure management.
  • Troubleshoot containerized workloads, platform configurations, and connectivity issues to maintain system reliability.
  • Develop documentation, onboarding guides, and conduct technical training to drive cloud-native adoption.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with deep expertise in software engineering and platform engineering.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration.
  • Strong experience with Azure cloud platform and cloud-native application architecture.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Experience with GitOps tools, specifically ArgoCD, for deployment automation.
  • Programming or scripting skills in Go, Python, Java, Node.js, or Shell.
  • Knowledge of observability tools for monitoring, logging, and tracing in Kubernetes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex containerized workloads and platform support scenarios.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with container security best practices, image scanning, and Kubernetes RBAC.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of Helm charts, OpenShift Operators, and CNCF ecosystem tools.
