Description

You will lead the engineering effort for the Kubernetes platform, managing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and team mentorship.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the container platform using GKE on GCP via Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to roll out new features and address Kubernetes maintenance requests.
• Manage the lifecycle of GKE addons and implement Anthos Service Mesh security and observability.
• Lead development efforts, conduct code reviews, and mentor the platform engineering team.
• Maintain platform SLOs through monitoring and incident response.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of professional experience in a technical leadership role.
• Expert proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deep understanding and experience with Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and scaling.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Experience implementing and managing Cloud Service Mesh technologies.
• Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python.
• Familiarity with Ansible and GCP CloudDeploy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maintaining platform SLOs through monitoring and incident response.
