Description

You will lead the design and implementation of kdb+/q solutions for real-time and historical data processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain kdb+/q solutions for real-time and historical data processing.
• Build performant data pipelines and analytics workflows using KX technologies.
• Optimize queries and database schemas for performance and scalability.
• Integrate kdb+ into larger enterprise systems through cross-functional collaboration.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and incident management for kdb+ environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with kdb+ and q programming language.
• Deep understanding of time-series data and database internals.
• Experience building real-time data ingestion and analytics pipelines.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with Python or Shell for automation.
• Expertise in performance tuning and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Skills in deployment, monitoring, and incident management.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with financial markets, trading systems, or IoT data.
