Description

You will provide technical support for healthcare IT environments, focusing on medical device networking, cloud infrastructure, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including IP configuration, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, and firewall rules.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts, implement workarounds, and document findings to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain technical documentation, including networking procedures, device specifications, and runbooks.
• Manage incident, problem, and change control processes following ITIL standards.
• Write and optimize SQL/Postgres queries to diagnose issues and analyze data quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an L2 Application Support role.
• Strong networking knowledge: DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, and VLANs.
• Proficiency with SQL and Postgres for data diagnosis.
• Experience with Windows OS and driver configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware.
• Automation and scripting skills using Python, Ansible, or PowerShell.
• CCNA or CCIE certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EMR integrators such as EPIC or Capsule Technologies.
• Knowledge of HL7 interface standards and hospital IT network environments.
