Description

Manage and support middleware platforms and software-defined application technologies in Omaha, NE.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer, upgrade, and deploy middleware technologies and architecture standards.
• Monitor performance for individual components and overall middleware products and platforms.
• Collaborate with internal middleware teams to test, implement, and integrate systems.
• Generate reports regarding middleware utilization, capacity, availability, and support.
• Document all existing and new middleware platforms and infrastructure functionality.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in application support or middleware administration.
• Hands-on experience with Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, and Websphere.
• Proficiency with Azure and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with Websphere Liberty and messaging technologies.
• Working knowledge of Splunk and Link.
• Experience with database administration and software-defined application technology.
• Ability to consult with L2/L3 experts to resolve environment challenges.
