Description

You will design, build, and support scalable data pipelines and curated data solutions using Azure Data Factory and SQL Server. You will deliver reliable, secure, and well-governed data assets that enable analytics, reporting, and operational use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Build and maintain curated data models in SQL Server to support analytics and operational workloads.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for performance.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and loading patterns across multiple source systems.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues, participate in root cause analysis, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, including performance tuning and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience building and supporting pipelines with Azure Data Factory.
• Experience working with .NET C# and Azure services.
• Solid experience with data migration and transformation.
• Experience with source control in Git and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and data quality or governance practices.
• Knowledge of Financial Services or Banking data domains.
