Description

You will provide onsite physical touch and smart hands support for network and server infrastructure in a factory and data center environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair software and hardware issues on factory computing equipment at the system, module, and component level.
• Perform rack and stack installations for network and server equipment, including cable management and pathway system setup.
• Execute server installs by mounting hardware into racks, connecting network cabling, and configuring iLO based on documentation.
• Collaborate with IT Networks, Windows, GOS Service Desk, and Process Integration specialists to resolve complex outages.
• Manage hardware lifecycle tasks including ordering, forecasting, stocking, and proper disposal of computing equipment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technical experience.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and intermediate Windows OS troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows imaging and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Hands-on experience with server patching and physical network touch support.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in data center hot aisles.
• Capability to work in enclosed, hot environments and handle physical movement such as crawling or kneeling.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, client technicians, and remote L2/L3 teams.
• Ability to prioritize multiple factory issues and work both independently and in small teams.

Preferred Skills

• Cleanroom experience.
• Technical certifications or an Associate degree in a technology services discipline.
