Description

You will provide capacity and support to L2 and L3 team activities, resolving tickets and maintaining virtualization infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve tickets routed by Walmart.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekly and weekend support.
• Monitor and respond to ad hoc requests from the Home Office Team.
• Assist in VMware and Nutanix design and operations.
• Coordinate support with third-party vendors and OEMs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with virtualization technologies, preferably Nutanix Acropolis (AOS).
• Generalist skills supporting Linux or Windows, VMware, and hardware.
• Scripting knowledge, preferably in PowerShell or Python.
• Ability to support mixed Linux and Windows environments, including VMware and Citrix.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware components.
• Familiarity with third-party vendor management and OEM support.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise with hypervisors such as VMware and Nutanix in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines or infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
