Description

You will provide L3 network and service assurance support for enterprise environments, focusing on routing, switching, and Cisco-based WAN, LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex multi-domain incidents escalated by L2 groups while adhering to SLA and KPI requirements.
• Act as a day-2 architect for projects, providing design and deployment guidance for new enterprise sites.
• Manage lifecycle processes by working with OEMs on upgrades for EoL and EoS hardware.
• Drive resolution of complex incidents by raising TAC cases with OEMs and coordinating with CSP fault management teams.
• Represent the operations team in architectural and roadmap discussions and act as a technical advisor to the customer.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in networking technologies, specifically within large enterprise service assurance.
• Expertise in EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, CoS, QoS, VRF, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR routers (1001-X, 1001-HX, 1002-HX).
• Proficiency with Cisco LAN switches (9500, 9300, 9200, 6800, 4500, 3850, 3750, 3730, 3650, 83560, 3550, 2960).
• Experience with SD-WAN (C8500, C8300, C8200, 8500L) and WAPs (9115, 6300, 3702, 3502, 2802, 2702, 2602, 1852, 1832, 1702, 1602, 1562).
• Knowledge of Network Segmentation and Cisco SD-Access based segregation.
• Ability to perform on-call support at odd hours as needed.
• Strong analytical skills for RCA preparation and incident resolution.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP (Routing & Switching) or CCIE R&S certification.
• Experience with Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and Cisco ISE.
