Description

Lead infrastructure automation and CI/CD workflows for database platforms using infrastructure-as-code, Python, and Kubernetes.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain infrastructure-as-code for database environments using Terraform.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for platform deployments using GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for deploying database operators to Kubernetes.
• Write Python automation for provisioning, patching, backups, and compliance.
• Integrate observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic into database platforms.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency with Terraform for AWS or multi-cloud environments.
• Strong Python development skills for platform automation and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including Helm chart creation and lifecycle management.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads (StatefulSets, PVCs, RBAC).
• Proficient with Argo CD and GitOps principles for application delivery.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of secrets management integrations (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, KMS).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with configuration and parameterization of database operators (CNPG, Percona, Redis).
• Experience integrating SLO/SLA-driven alerting and metrics pipelines.
