You provide high-level technical support for desktop environments, focusing on Linux and Windows systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and analyze complex issues involving PC hardware, operating systems, and office automation software.
• Manage and maintain Ubuntu desktop environments and Windows desktop operating systems.
• Perform domain-related administrative tasks within Windows Server environments.
• Resolve hardware and software issues related to LAN environments, network devices, and communication protocols.
• Maintain office infrastructure including printer maintenance and audio-video setups.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in desktop environments.
• Hands-on experience with Ubuntu Linux desktop environments (1+ years).
• Advanced knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 7, 10).
• Proficiency in shell scripting and Perl.
• Experience performing analysis on Microsoft Office 365.
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems and domain administration.
• Intermediate knowledge of LAN environments and communication protocols.
• Experience with LAN-based email systems such as Outlook and MS Exchange.
• Knowledge of validated systems (GxP).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network system devices and PC network hardware.
