Description

You manage Aruba network health, resolve L1/L2 incidents, and execute infrastructure changes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Aruba network health (switches, WLCs, APs) via Aruba Central, AirWave, and SolarWinds.
• Triage, diagnose, and resolve L1/L2 incidents within SLA; escalate P1/P2 issues per the matrix.
• Execute approved changes including firmware upgrades, VLAN/SSID changes, and ACL updates.
• Manage SSID provisioning, RF troubleshooting, and ArubaOS-CX switch configuration.
• Support post-go-live hypercare, defect triage, and knowledge transfer to BAU support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience with ArubaOS-CX switches, ArubaOS (Instant AP/Controller), Aruba Central, and AirWave.
• Solid grounding in routing and switching fundamentals: VLAN, STP, LACP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Wireless fundamentals including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, RF planning, and site survey basics.
• Working knowledge of SolarWinds NPM/NCM for network monitoring and configuration management.
• Experience with ITIL-aligned Incident, Problem, and Change management processes.
• Proficiency in Python or Ansible for configuration deployment and reporting automation.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Aruba Certified Switching Associate/Professional (ACSA/ACSP) or Aruba Certified Mobility Associate/Professional (ACMA/ACMP).
• CCNA certification or equivalent project fundamentals exposure.
