Description

Manage and optimize complex network infrastructures across data center and WAN environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data center networks and large-scale WAN architectures.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers and Layer 2/Layer 3 switches.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues using deep protocol knowledge.
• Manage MPLS, EGP (BGP), and IGP (OSPF, EIGRP) protocols.
• Create technical documentation and coordinate with product vendors and service providers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on networking experience.
• Expertise in Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Deep understanding of the OSI model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
• Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, RIP, and EIGRP.
• Experience with MPLS, MP-BGP, and L2/L3 VPNs.
• Knowledge of switching protocols including STP, RSTP, MSTP, PVST, and VSTP.
• Working knowledge of ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with Multicast protocols such as IGMP, IGMP-snooping, and PIM.
• CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing SDN and wireless devices.
