Description

You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in large-scale OpenShift and Kubernetes environments, ensuring high availability for containerized workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis for pod crashes, restart loops, and containerized database failures.
• Manage OpenShift assets including pods, deployments, services, routes, configmaps, and persistent volumes.
• Monitor system health using Grafana and Splunk, and lead incident remediation efforts.
• Support networking and security configurations, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall rules.
• Automate routine tasks and scripts using Python or similar languages.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years in Systems or Infrastructure Engineering with large-scale deployment experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with OpenShift (OCP) and Kubernetes in on-prem environments.
• Deep knowledge of OCP architecture, Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Routes, and Namespaces.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and containerized database instances (e.g., StarRocks).
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Splunk Logs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP and Redis.
• Background in cross-functional project coordination.
