You will lead network operations and automation initiatives, ensuring technical excellence across enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize LANs, WANs, VMs, and virtual networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Lead automation projects to streamline network operations and reduce manual intervention.
  • Manage customer relationships, resolving issues and delivering tailored solutions proactively.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to network architecture, focusing on scalability and automation.
  • Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive adherence to ITIL processes and SLAs.

Required Skills

  • 12+ years in network administration within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches (ASR, ISR, CAT, Nexus), Firepower firewalls, and F5 load balancer technologies.
  • Deep understanding of static and dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, Multicast, Unicast).
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting for network operations (e.g., Python, Ansible).
  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Moogsoft) and ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in network security best practices and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong packet capture and analysis skills using tools like Wireshark.
  • Proven ability to manage customer escalations and deliver results under pressure.
