Description

You will lead technical support and management for customer laboratory IT environments and integrated instrumentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboratory IT environments, including benchtop computing design, Windows platform connectivity, and desktop hardware support.
• Lead the technical team through daily ticket scrums, 1-1s, hiring, performance reviews, and mentorship.
• Oversee ServiceNow requests and incidents to meet SLA requirements and provide governance reporting.
• Implement Windows-based security, including user permissions, group policies, and local security policies.
• Maintain physical inventories of lab equipment, PCs, and software while managing onboarding, retirement, and relocation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technical experience in lab IT or a regulated IT environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in an IT setting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex instrument and technology issues.
• Experience managing Windows-based platforms, operating systems, and desktop hardware.
• Strong ability to document procedures, policies, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks within prescribed timeframes.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a Lab GxP environment.
• Hands-on experience with scientific instrumentation.
• Experience with SOP creation and change control management.
