You will perform laboratory testing and maintain equipment operations within a controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Run laboratory tests and operate technical equipment according to established protocols.
- Perform precise measurements using the metric system and unit conversions.
- Enter data accurately into records and draft routine reports and correspondence.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety practices and troubleshooting procedures.
- Manage time effectively to meet requirements for four 10-hour shifts, including rotating weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of laboratory experience, specifically running tests and operating lab equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong competency in basic arithmetic, including fractions, percentages, decimals, and metric system conversions.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for technical reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Technical degree or certification in a science-related field.
- Capability to complete training on the day shift.
