Description

Build, test, and refine hardware prototypes in a laboratory environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build prototypes by interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Construct components and systems using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
• Conduct functional tests and inspections to identify defects or design deviations.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop test plans and implement solutions for assembly challenges.
• Document assembly processes, testing results, and required modifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in prototype assembly or a similar role.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience using software to run automated tests.
• Ability to triage technical issues and report findings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Design and Triage processes.

Preferred Skills

• Any graduate degree.
