job responsibilities include:
Set up and maintain large‑scale hardware rack environments, ensuring all devices, fixtures, and configurations required for firmware testing are properly installed and functional.
Provide in‑lab technical support by diagnosing and resolving system, hardware, and network issues across macOS, iOS, and Linux‑based environments.
Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and test automation teams to configure test hardware, validate setups, and troubleshoot failures in automated test workflows.
Automate device management tasks using Python, Bash, and Ansible to improve lab efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
Assemble and maintain custom test fixtures and ensure equipment, cables, and device clusters remain organized and operational.
Document lab processes and maintain clear communication, supporting cross‑team coordination and continuous improvement of lab operations and automation.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or technical certification in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience building, managing, or supporting hardware labs with multiple devices and test environments.
Strong hands‑on experience managing MacOS/iOS devices, troubleshooting system‑level issues, and supporting hardware setups for firmware testing.
Practical experience automating device management using Python, Bash, or Ansible, with the ability to diagnose and resolve lab infrastructure and test‑environment issues
