Description

Set up, maintain, and automate large-scale hardware rack environments for firmware testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure devices, fixtures, and firmware testing setups in lab rack environments.
• Diagnose and resolve system, hardware, and network issues across macOS, iOS, and Linux.
• Collaborate with firmware and test automation teams to validate setups and troubleshoot workflow failures.
• Automate device management tasks using Python, Bash, and Ansible to improve lab efficiency.
• Assemble custom test fixtures and maintain organized, operational equipment clusters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building, managing, or supporting hardware labs.
• Strong hands-on experience managing macOS and iOS devices.
• Practical automation experience with Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Ability to troubleshoot system-level issues and hardware setups.
• Experience supporting hardware setups for firmware testing.
• Knowledge of Linux-based environments.

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree or technical certification in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or IT.
• Experience documenting lab processes and supporting cross-team coordination.
