Description

You will design and optimize advanced test, measurement, automation, and control systems using National Instruments LabVIEW platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define scalable LabVIEW software architectures using modular, layered, actor-based, QMH, or state machine patterns.
• Lead end-to-end system design, including hardware integration (DAQ) and software framework definition.
• Provide technical direction and conduct design and code reviews for developers and cross-functional teams.
• Develop complex LabVIEW applications for automation, data acquisition, and control systems.
• Implement version control and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in LabVIEW development.
• 3+ years in system architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in LabVIEW (Core, Real-Time, FPGA) and NI hardware (DAQ, CompactDAQ).
• Proficiency in software design patterns and architecture principles.
• Experience with multithreading, parallel processing, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, Modbus, and CAN communication protocols.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Knowledge of Python, C/C++, or .NET integration.
• Experience applying Agile/Scrum methodologies.
