Description

You will design, implement, and document network solutions within complex cloud technology architectures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, and implement solutions for Cisco-centric WAN, LAN, and WLAN environments, including routers, firewalls, and security.
• Lead contingent workers, partners, and site resources to complete network refreshes and oversee site installs, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Optimize and tune network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Build Bills of Materials (BOM), coordinate resources, track execution, and validate equipment deployments.
• Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues and perform root cause analysis for system trouble areas.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of professional networking experience.
• Deep understanding of LAN switching technologies, including VXLAN, ACI, fabric path, Spanning Tree, VLAN, and VTP.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing Cloud Networking technologies and solutions.
• Expertise in IP addressing and Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM).
• Proficiency with network orchestration, automation, and scripting using Python, Ansible, Perl, or Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, PagerDuty, Site24x7, or Nagios.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Strong ability to present technical concepts and recommendations to management.

Preferred Skills

• Leadership experience managing external partners and site resources.
