Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of applications using LANSA and Visual LANSA while mentoring a team of programmers and analysts.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team, establishing work plans and delegating assignments.
• Design, code, test, and implement application software throughout the full development life cycle.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and detailed design documents.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve team efficiency and adherence to coding standards.
• Analyze existing program logic to modify or improve application components and system performance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of experience in a team lead or leadership position.
• Expertise in LANSA and Visual LANSA for iSeries.
• Functional experience with ACBS.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working directly with clients.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AS400, iSeries, or QM Queries.
• Knowledge of Crestview.
• Experience with ETL tools such as SAP Data Services or Talend Open Studio Data Integration.
