Description

Design and engineer large-scale LAN/WAN network architectures while leading product certification and vendor management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer complex LAN/WAN network architectures for large-scale deployments.
• Test and certify new products and code within LAB environments, developing formal design documentation.
• Execute bug scrubs on IOS, XE, NXOS, and XR platforms to ensure stability.
• Manage vendor relationships, coordinate testing efforts, and evaluate Proof of Concepts.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in network design and engineering.
• CCNP or CCIE level certification.
• Expert knowledge of IP routing: BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, RIP, and MPLS.
• Deep experience with Cisco platforms: Catalyst (3K, 4K, 6K, 9K), Nexus, and ISR/ASR.
• Experience with Arista platforms (7280, 7504, 7260, 7150, 7800).
• Hands-on experience with L2/L3 QoS, IPSec, and Multicast (IGMPv2/3, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, MSDP).
• Proficiency with L2 technologies: Spanning-tree, L2-VPNs, CEF, and TCAM.
• Implementation experience with MAB, Port Security, NAC, and 802.1x.
• Understanding of Data Center protocols: VXLAN, NV-GRE, and eVPN.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Ultra Low Latency and Timing.
• Experience with Data Center power, cooling, and high-speed cabling (10G to 100G).
• Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and server technologies.
