Description

Perform hardware repairs and technical support for desktop and laptop devices in a directed service delivery environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute hardware repairs including replaceable unit swapping and whole unit replacement.
• Load software and images onto devices using provided scripts.
• Perform unit testing following detailed scripts to ensure device functionality.
• Handle desktop and laptop break-fix tasks and simple printer repairs.
• Complete routine installs, moves, adds, and changes as part of a directed team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical support or field engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge of Dell Desktop PC installation and support.
• Hands-on experience with computer repair and break-fix workflows.
• Proficiency in unit testing and technical support procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
• Active A+ Certification.
• Ability to follow instructions from Help Desk or Service Desk in NBD and SBD environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dell Client Transformation Services.
