Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle for web applications within a PHP-based ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Design and build RESTful APIs to integrate server-side logic with front-end systems.
• Write clean, reusable code following OOP and SOLID principles.
• Utilize Eloquent ORM to manage databases and optimize complex queries.
• Conduct code reviews and debug performance bottlenecks to ensure maintainability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Competency with Eloquent ORM for efficient data management.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with version control using Git and Gitflow workflows.
• Understanding of web security best practices, including authentication and authorization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with unit testing and TDD using PHPUnit or Pest.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
